Overview

Glodatum LLC operates an infrastructure asset documentation platform. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

What We Collect

Infrastructure Data (captured by municipal crews using the Glodatum app):

• Photographs — images of physical infrastructure assets captured from public areas and rights-of-way
• GPS coordinates — precise location of each asset at time of capture
• Timestamps — date and time of every capture, forming an immutable evidence chain
• AI classifications — asset type, subtype, condition score, and manufacturer data derived from photographs
• Object IDs — permanent GLO IDs assigned to each documented asset

From Dashboard Users (municipalities and commercial customers):

• Name, email, and organization — to manage account access and deliver dashboard links
• Dashboard access logs — to monitor platform usage and support customers

How We Use It

• Build and maintain a GPS-verified, time-series database of physical infrastructure assets
• Provide municipalities with free access to their documented infrastructure via secure dashboard
• License infrastructure data to commercial customers (utilities, engineering firms, insurance companies, manufacturers) under separate agreements
• Detect infrastructure condition changes and generate alerts over time
• Support emergency response documentation and FEMA chain-of-custody requirements
• Improve AI classification accuracy and platform performance

What We Don't Do

• Sell personal information to third parties
• Capture photos on private property — all documentation is from public areas and rights-of-way
• Store payment card numbers — Glodatum does not process consumer payments
• Track individuals — location data is tied to infrastructure assets, not people

Data Rights

Infrastructure records captured by municipal crews through the Glodatum platform are processed and maintained by Glodatum LLC with the authorization of participating municipalities. Glodatum holds the rights necessary to operate, maintain, and commercialize the platform. Municipalities and commercial customers are granted a non-exclusive license to access their relevant data under their respective agreements. Access does not transfer those rights.

Data Storage

All data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. Infrastructure photographs are stored in private, versioned S3 buckets with cross-region replication and MFA-protected deletion. Dashboard and customer data is stored in DynamoDB with point-in-time recovery enabled.

Data Sharing

Infrastructure data for a given geographic area may be licensed to multiple authorized commercial customers (utilities, engineering firms, insurance companies, manufacturers) operating within that territory. Personal information of municipal users is never shared with commercial customers or third parties.

Data Retention

Infrastructure photographs and asset records are retained indefinitely — temporal history is core to the platform's value. Dashboard user account information is retained for the duration of the customer relationship. You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us below.

Your Rights

Municipal and commercial customers may request deletion of their account and personal contact information by emailing support@glodatum.com. Note: infrastructure photographs and asset records documented in public areas are part of the Glodatum platform database and are retained regardless of account status.
