Glodatum is an infrastructure asset documentation platform. Municipal crews use the Glodatum capture app to document physical infrastructure assets — including fire hydrants, manholes, storm drains, stop signs, and other municipal and utility infrastructure — creating GPS-verified, timestamped photo records in the field. Glodatum processes those records, assigns permanent Object IDs, applies AI classification and condition scoring, and makes the resulting data available through a secure dashboard and API to the municipality and authorized commercial partners.
Municipalities that use the Glodatum platform to document their infrastructure receive free access to their infrastructure dashboard. This includes GPS-verified asset records, temporal capture history, condition scoring, and AI-assisted classification. Municipal access is provided at no charge.
By using the Glodatum platform, municipalities grant Glodatum a non-exclusive, perpetual license to process, maintain, and publish the infrastructure records captured by their crews. This authorization allows Glodatum to operate the platform on the municipality's behalf and to make the resulting data available to authorized commercial partners — such as utilities, engineering firms, and insurance companies — operating within or adjacent to documented areas. Municipalities retain full access to their records at all times and are never charged for that access.
Utilities, engineering firms, insurance companies, manufacturers, and other commercial entities may license access to Glodatum's infrastructure data through a subscription agreement. This licensing is made possible by the authorizations granted by participating municipalities. Pricing, coverage, and data rights are governed by a separate commercial agreement. Commercial customers may access data only for the territory and asset classes covered by their subscription.
Infrastructure records captured by municipal crews through the Glodatum platform — including GPS coordinates, timestamps, photographs, AI classifications, condition scores, Object IDs, and temporal records — are processed and maintained by Glodatum LLC with the authorization of participating municipalities. Glodatum holds the rights necessary to operate, maintain, and commercialize the platform. Access granted to municipalities and commercial customers does not transfer those rights. Each party's use of the data is limited to the scope of their agreement with Glodatum.
Glodatum assigns a permanent, globally unique Object ID (GLO ID) to each documented infrastructure asset. These identifiers are generated and maintained by Glodatum and form part of Glodatum's proprietary data infrastructure. Object IDs are included in all data exports and dashboard records.
Dashboard access is token-based and tied to an authorized account. Tokens are non-transferable. Users may not share dashboard credentials, scrape data, or access the platform through automated means without prior written authorization from Glodatum. Glodatum reserves the right to revoke access for any violation of these terms.
Glodatum makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of its infrastructure records. However, GPS coordinates are subject to device accuracy limitations, and AI classifications are probabilistic in nature. Municipalities and commercial customers should verify critical infrastructure data independently before relying on it for engineering, public safety, or regulatory decisions.
Glodatum collects and processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Infrastructure photos are taken from public areas and public rights-of-way. No private property is accessed during documentation.
Glodatum's liability is limited to the fees paid under any applicable commercial agreement. Glodatum is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on its data.
Glodatum reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
