📱 Install the App

1Open glodatum.com/app.html in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android)

2iPhone: Tap the Share button (square with arrow) → "Add to Home Screen"

Android: Tap the menu (3 dots) → "Add to Home Screen"

3Open the app from your home screen

🔑 Login

Enter your email address and tap Start Capturing. That's it — no password needed. Your email is how we track your contributions.

📸 Capture

1Tap Select type... (Select object from drop down menu)

2Stand 3-5 feet away, capture the full object

3Tap Capture Photo and allow camera + location access

4If the object is damaged (broken, leaking, knocked over, etc.), check the ⚠️ Object appears damaged box

5Select Use Photo and click Upload

💡 Tips for good photos:

Get the whole object in frame
Make sure connections/details are visible
Avoid shadows covering the object
One object per photo

📶 No Signal?

No problem! Photos save automatically and upload when you're back online. Keep capturing.

🔧 Troubleshooting

App won't capture / "Location required" error:

iPhone: Settings → Safari → Location → set to "Allow"
Android: Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions → Location → Allow
Make sure Location Services is turned ON in your phone settings

Camera not working:

iPhone: Settings → Safari → Camera → set to "Allow"
Android: Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions → Camera → Allow

Still stuck? Try closing and reopening the app, or restart your browser.
